Epi Info Essential course is three days training course specially designed for Public Health professionals. The course provides the participants with the basic knowledge and skills of using Epi info software for research data management and analysis. Keeping in view the time constraints,  a study project ie., an outbreak investigation is used in the training course.

A series of three activities are designed for three course days. Each activity is the base for the next activity and has to be completed in a step-wise manner. For each training activity an illustrated guidelines developed which facilitate the participants to complete the activity tasks.

Essential course differ from the Basic course in the way that it contains only the Visual Dash board analysis tool of Epi Info while Basic Course contains both Classic Analysis and Visual Dashboard analysis. Successfull completion of these activities will provide the participants with all the essential skills of using Epi Info for research data analysis and management.
